Lots of yummy restaurants, cute shops, walkable downtown Honesdale is great for the day.

country diner, gas station,dollar general , post office , bar and restaurant , all 5 minute walk around corner. 10 minute drive to narrowsburg ny , with shopping and eating. 10 minute ride to honesdale pa with shopping and lots of everything. 45 ninute ride to bethal woods concerts and museum , next to where woodstock concert was held. 45 minute ride to pnc field in scranton , where the triple a yankees play, an extra affordable outing for family and friends. you can take the whole family there and eat out for less than one ticket to yankee stadium. elk mountain and tanglewood skiing is also a short ride. 20 nminute ride to hawley pa has antique shops and lake wallenpaupack ,one of the biggest lakes in pa.

Lots of great restaurants, interesting shops, and our favorite bakery (be kind) are in town. TIP: BRING QUARTERS TO PARK DOWNTOWN! This is also the place to go to stock up. You'll find the PA state liquor store, Weis Grocery store, Home Depot, and even a Walmart (sometimes you need one!)
