Stunning cove at the end of culburra beach. Protected on the beach and calm waters. Great for kids or swimming, SUP's. Good picnic area on grass with walk through to the rock shelf (where we are!)

Only about 200m walk from Salty's is fantastic Tilbury Cove, which was the centrepiece of 'Tilbury Cove Resort' (closed and removed early last century). It is a great place for swimming and paddling or picnicing on the grass - you are sheltered from almost all winds here and the waves are generally small. It is located in the far southern corner of Culburra Beach and access is through a park which has a playground and electric bbqs. Many locals use it as a starting point for daily beach walks. Contact Peter for helpful advice about which places are best for the day's weather conditions.
