This trailhead is 5 houses down from the Sanctuary and with so many off shoot trails, you can make it a sweat-inducing hike or a leisurely stroll.

Lovely 11 miles of an old road trail through the wilderness. No cars allowed just walkers, runners, bikes and dogs with owners. :)

Wonderful Pacific NW trail with birds and lots of foliage. Do a couple miles or 25 miles.

Feel the immense effect of nature without leaving the city. Portland's Forrest Park is the largest forrest within a city in the U.S. You can literally hike for 30+ miles.
