Take a walk, jog, or bike ride on Nashville's Greenway alongside the Stones River. It's a three-mile trek to the J. Percy Priest Dam created in the 1960's that provides affordable electricity to Nashville residents. Lots of shade and river scenery.

Perfect place to ridebikes. This place is next to the dam by the airport and goes all the way into Nashville.
