The trail is accessible just up the street, off of Stations West Circle. (please do not park your car, it could get towed) The actual trailhead for Sugar Loaf is off of Buena Vista Drive. Sugar Loaf trail gives access to the vast hiking corridor to include Teacup, Thunder Mountain and Andante…
Sugarloaf trail head is a few minute drive from the oasis house. You can either do a 2 mile loop around Sugarloaf or climb up to the summit for some breathtaking views on either route. Free parking.
One of the very best, and just steps outside the door! For a limited commitment (not too long or strenuous a hike, although your are quickly going to head UP), you get 360 degree views from the top.
It's our neighborhood access to single track...morning hikes, start your bike rides, evening hikes.. Best place to see the sunset!

“Devils Bridge Trail is a 4.2 mile heavily trafficked out and back trail. It's the largest natural sandstone arch located in the Sedona area of the Coconino National Forest. This is a very popular hike that offers breathtaking views of Red Rock country. Good trail. Go early! It’s pretty easy, flat and Kid friendly. There is NO shade and the sun can be pretty harsh. At the end of the trail it's a rocky scramble to get to the bridge. Parking on the road, and walking to the trail head might add 1-2 miles. It's a very busy trail used by hikers, bikers and off roading vehicles to drive up to the trail head. This can make for a dusty walk, but worth the views! ”

“361 Cedar Street in Uptown. Bohemian coffee house favored by local artist and authors, named as a tribute to the Proprietor’s grandmother (I think). Its’ relaxing atmosphere provides the perfect place to unwind on the weekend. Stop by on Saturday or Sunday afternoon for live music. Favorites are the pumpkin spice chai latte and frozen mango smoothie. ”

“One of my favorite all-time hikes. The best bits are towards the end of the trail, so don't turn back early.”

“They have directions, maps and books on the area. The volunteers are locals and they can give you advice and answer questions. ”
