Beautiful Gardens to explore & fun water features for children to explore

The centrepiece of the Alnwick Garden is the Grand Cascade water feature. There’s also an enormous tree house with rope bridges, Ornamental Garden, Bamboo Labyrinth and the Poison Garden. There are lots of interesting features for kids to enjoy including a water play area where they can run into the amazing water sculptures. Take swimming costumes and towels. The garden is very family friendly and there is a programme of family events and areas for picnics. Allow a full long day for your visit, and finish with something tasty in the Tree House restaurant, Pavilion Cafe or The Potting Shed coffee shop. NE66 1YU 01665 511350

Visit the gardens and don't forget to book your free tour around the Poison Gardens, walk through the cherry tree orchard , visit the walled garden, bamboo laberynth and generally have a great day.

A beautifully crafted contemporary garden. Kids can ride the mini tractors and on a sunny day take swimmers and towels for the children to run through the water features, they'll be screaming in delight. Meander round the gardens, and enjoy coffee and ice cream in the Pavillion - although we recommend a picnic on the vast lawn infront of the huge cascading waterfall. You can while away a good few hours here. The Treehouse Restaurant can be accessed without paying for the gardens and is lovely for a romantic dinner.
