Pedal at your own pace, you will see fantastic rock formations, tumbling waterfalls and abundant wildlife. You can picnic at one of the little picnic stops along the trail.

A really great activity for nature lovers and pre-teen to middle aged category. Maybe not for littles or eldery as it is a 2 hour bike ride but it is not that much effort overall as it is a 2% decline the whole way. Minor decline (will seems straight to you) but no uphills. Scenery is stunning.

Bring your own bikes or rent bikes at Jim Thorpe and ride down the Lehigh Gorge bike trail. You can take the train or load the bikes on a trailer to get up to the trail and enjoy a downhill ride on the Lehigh Gorge trail.

You can rent bikes here to tour along the Leigh Gorge Rail Trail. We haven't done this yet ourselves, but it looks amazing!

It’s a near perfect 2-3 hours. Pocono Biking, right in downtown Jim Thorpe, is wonderful. They’ve got high quality bikes and will shuttle you up to Rockport. Then you can bike the easy, flat 15 miles down the Lehigh River Gorge to get back to Jim Thorpe - where a frosty libation awaits in one of the restaurants nearby.
