Within Cape May Point State Park is a free Nature Trail! Discover this 1.8-mile loop trail near Cape May, New Jersey. Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 31 min to complete. This is a popular trail for trail running and walking, but you can still enjoy some solitude during quieter times of day. Follow the trail out to the beach and you’ll find an old WWII bunker. The trail is open year-round and is beautiful to visit anytime. You'll need to leave pups at home — dogs aren't allowed on this trail.

Home to the Cape May Lighthouse, part of the New Jersey Coastal Heritage Trail. Fantastic views from the top of the lighthouse! Numerous hiking trails and an excellent location for bird watching.

This is a great park for a hike through the beautiful marshlands of South NJ and also to learn some history of the beautiful Cape May Lighthouse.
