The Historic Mayowood Mansion is the former home of Doctor Charles H. Mayo, co-founder of the world renowned Mayo Clinic in Rochester. Original furnishings. One-hour guided walking tour. Tickets can be purchased directly at the mansion.

Built in 1911 by Dr. Charles H. Mayo, this historic 38-room mansion was home to three generations of the famous family. The 5-story, stone structure now boasts an extensive decorative arts collection, gorgeous gardens, and antique furnishings from French, Spanish, German, and American cultures. General tours are scheduled Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays (March-October), with a seasonal Christmas tour in November and December.
