Great museum with terrific exhibits that explain the unique history of the Adirondacks. A must visit during your stay, for both kids and adults. Nice cafe for lunch, or stop at the historic hotel in nearby Long Lake.

A great day trip. Outdoor and indoor exhibits on the natural and social history of the Adirondacks. Things for kids to do. Stop in Tupper Lake on the way back for dinner and for grocery shopping.
