Starting at the small parking area at the bridge where Morgan Bay begins, Carter Nature Preserve includes 3 unique sections of trails. The trails consist of rocky shoreline, panoramic views, ledges, tidal pools and cobble beaches. Also part of the Blue Hill Heritage Trust.

Because it is in walking distance and is an interesting trail through a variety of habitats, including along the shore of Morgan Bay.
