Draper Preserve provides access to the Big Wood River and the well known Bow Bridge. The preserve is mostly forested so it remains cool on the hottest days. There is a gravel/dirt path that runs the length of the preserve. Surrounded by Della and Carbonate Mountains. Keep your eyes open for the "Heart Tree". People have been collecting heart shaped rocks and leaving them to decorate the tree.

A beautiful and easy walking trail behind Lions' Park. This traverses wetlands, the river, and goes to the Heart Tree, where locals leave heart-shaped rocks.

Nature preserve by the river in Hailey. Flat walks through the trees and wetlands. You can access it from the north on Bullion near Lions Park or from the south from a foot path off War Eagle near Heagle Park. Walk north alongside Broadford Rd. Turn left at Cedar and follow it all the way to the bend heading left to War Eagle. Watch for small footpaths welcoming you into the trees along the road. Enjoy the winding paths.Bug spray recommended.

A little nature preserve in the heart of Hailey. Walk along side the river and through a canopy of aspens and cottonwoods. Find little river access points to soak your feet in the cold water. Listen to bird song. Find the bow bridge and bronze arrow. Smile and say hello to the locals as you cross paths. Located along the Big Wood River, behind Della View and China Garden neighborhoods.
