The Abingdon Arms (6 miles/9.5 km drive or a wonderful 1-2 hour/3 miles/5 km +/- walk across Otmoor and the RSPB reserve) is a community-owned pub with a great atmosphere, good food and a beautiful view across Otmoor. They have a pizza oven and do takeaways. The new outside space is very well done.

Lots of history attached to this pub , especially for fans of Evelyn Waugh , who used to drink here. A large deck over looking Otmoor bird sanctuary for sunny days or a charming traditional pub indoors. Great food, and a pizza oven also
