Puffin tour, great fun for all. Making reservations in advance is advised. Other whale watching and sight seeing tours are available in Lubec and Eastport.

Puffin Tours to Machias Seal Island May-mid August. Captain Andy Patterson is the only charter captain licensed to take people ON the island to view the puffin nesting grounds. He also does fishing charters. Located on Cutler Harbor

The Bold Coast Puffin Tours out of Cutler are EXTREMELY popular. This tour does have to be booked far in advance as the guide only has a select number of spots available. Guests have told us many stories about waiting by the phone & ringing him off the hook when his books open to try and get a spot. Get up close and personal with these puffins— watching them from blinds on Seal Island. So cool!!
