Free to visit the lovable donkeys. Spoil them by taking apples, carrots and pears cut up. You will have the best time being loved by them all.

Wonderful place to visit. Bring carrots for the donkeys. Nice souvenirs for sale. Just visit, or help, by adopting one of the lovely donkeys.

Donkey Sanctuary (www.arubadonkey.org) is a refuge and natural park 25 minutes (16.3 km) drive in light traffic from Barcelo Aruba. It is a great opportunity to feed donkeys that are gentle and friendly! Bring some carrots or apples that the donkeys love or buy food there. The sanctuary is a holdover from the days before cars when donkeys were a mode of transport.

If you are an animal lover you have to visit this place that rescues the donkeys that are abandoned and sick, they feed and take care of them, it is a non-profit organization and they are the volunteers who completely direct the organization and their only mission is to save the donkeys.
