"Kavana Lvxor": A bit pricey coffee and wine experience at the epicenter of historical Split. But it is worth every 'lipa' in the summer evening when live music plays.

I recommend this expensive caffe/restaurant because of its interior. Inside you can see old Roman walls and columns and the Temple of Venus. It is settled inside a cafe on Peristil square, a well preserved medieval loggia. The base of the Temple of Venus is marked by a circular marble floor just as you enter.

Take your coffe out on the historic stairs of Peristil square. Ps. Interior is really nice as well!

This is a coffeehouse, but also a restaurant. It is situated on the Peristyle. In the summer there is a piano/a guitar player playing outside. As everywhere in the world, it is always more expensive on top locations such as this one is. You can use their toilet only if you are their guest. Go inside to check how beautiful it is (pay attention to the floor where the bar is - there is a marble circle on the floor - which shows where once the Diocletian's Temple of Venus was)
