Parque Juarez is the lungs of san Miguel de Allende, and the best part is that it's only steps from Rosewood Hotel where you can go for brunch on Sunday, then walk the pooches a few steps to the dog-friendly Juarez Park (Dogs must always be on a leash).
Nice beautiful quiet place that transforms into a painting gallery on Saturdays and Sundays where local artists sell their pieces
Parque Juárez is a family friendly spot with plenty of benches to sit and relax under the trees, fountains, 3 basketball courts and even a playground for children. A very alive and important space in this community for both locals and tourists.
Best park in town with loads of trees and shade and sports courts and running/walking tracks.

“Fresh squeezed juices, tortas, atoles and tamales for food. This place is where all the Mexican locals go. You can find fresh steamed green garbanzo beans, herbs, panela cheeses, vegetables, fruits, flowers, and clothing, shoes...and it extends from the Centro to Calle Hidalgo with all kinds of Mexican artesanales. ”

“ROSEWOOD HOTEL is the premier hotel in san Miguel de Allende, the best of the best, beautiful, with rooftop terrace, gardens, bars and restaurants (and Sunday Brunch) that are super dog friendly. Dress up and dress your pooches in their Sunday Best (or any day of the week), and go. It's really beautiful. ”

“Nature preserve that is beautiful and an easy hike. There is a waterfall when there is a lot of rain and a beautiful marsh amongst the high desert. You can eat an organic breakfast or lunch with aguamiel. Clean bathrooms. No pets. ”
