For something a little more high-end, consider Tabor Hill. Other good options are Timothy's (in New Buffalo), The Lake House (in St. Joe), Houndstooth Restaurant (in Benton Harbor) or Corndance (in Mishawaka).

Actually, this is on the wine trail and has trails. From one winery to the other. Totally beautiful and photo worthy. Delicious food and often live entertainment.

A bit of a drive from the cottage, but Tabor Hill Winery is a favorite of ours. Their weekend brunch is worth the drive. Also a great place to do a little wine tasting! This is a good location to kick-off a tour of Michigan wine country.
