Founded as a clubhouse for Professor Longhair, Tip's has played host to NOLA music legends since opening its doors in 1977. Dr. John, the Neville Brothers and "Trombone Shorty" have all graced the stage at this excellent, standing-room-only venue.
Be ready to stand up and hear amazing music. Can't pronounce that street name? ChopUhToolUs. That's about as close as we can get.
Old school classic music bar. Highly recommend checking it out if anyone is playing.
Check out this historic venue's calendar to see what's playing and grab the chance to see both widely known and barely known bands!

“Seated in historic uptown New Orleans Audubon Park is a favorite spot for recreation, picnics or enjoying a beautiful day. For more than a century, people have enjoyed this urban oasis with allées of ancient live oaks, a tranquil 1.8-mile jogging path, a lagoon, picnic shelters, and playgrounds. Audubon Park is open to the public and also features tennis courts, riding stables, soccer fields, the Whitney Young Pool, Audubon Clubhouse Café and Audubon Golf Club.”

“This is a big favorite for us. There's live music in the back, with its own bar and dance floor. Then there's booths, pool tables, TVs, and music playing up front at the main bar. Great local spot right along magazine street. Always good locals here having a drink.”
