Very interesting Windmill museum. Plan around 30 min for a visit. You can discover how the windmill looks inside and how people lived inside windmills in the past.

This mill can be visited like a museum. Such mills are part of the Dutch tradition. Did you know that, for example, back in the days, the mills were mainly constructed to keep the water out of the country? Check more and visit this interesting museum.

Everyone knows what a mill looks like. But do you also know what a mill looks like from the inside and how it works? Look through the walls of the mill and discover what you’ll see once you’ve entered the mill. Molen de Valk (The Falcon) is a tower mill, dating from 1743. The current mill succeeded a wooden mill, which was erected in 1667.

The Molen de Valk is a windmill built in 1785 and is one of the most recognizable sites in the city of Leiden. You can actually climb the stairs to the top of the windmill with views over the town.
