How to Get to ‘Opaeka’a Falls You can view the waterfall easily from the ‘Opaeka’a Falls View parking area. As is the case with nearly every waterfall in Kauai, however, the trail to the waterfall is no longer technically open and has become quite dangerous since no longer being maintained. For this reason, it is recommended you enjoy the scenery from the viewpoint.

When in Wailua, take a quick trip to see the Opaeka's Falls. The path to the falls is closed so you can only see the falls from the viewing point.
