This is a beautiful, secluded state park, that doesn't get quite as busy as some of the others along Rt. 7. There is a small sand beach and swimming area, as well as paddle boards, boats, canoes, and kayaks for rent, as well as a wonderful walking trail around the outside of the lake. The walk is just over a mile, and perfect short, but varied hike for our young family.
