the Degenried is a beautiful restaurant in the woods - not far from the famous Dolder Hotel & a 25min walk up the hill (so you really deserve that food!). it is a family run business & the food (including the fondue!) is delicious!

A forest restaurant with good Swiss food and excellent service, slightly upscale, reservation for lunch and dinner required... The forest is save and healthy for a walk.

To indulge in classic Swiss dishes and some of Zurich’s best icecream coupes, we walk 20 mins through the forest to the family run restaurant Degenreid. In summer, the terrace is the place to be to while away a few hours and in winter, it’s usually snow outside and warm and toasty on the inside.
