Cape Irozaki (石廊崎, Irōzaki) lies along the southern coastline of the Izu Peninsula at the peninsula's southernmost tip. The Irozaki lighthouse and Iro Shrine can be found at the cape; the shrine is built into the rocks at the very tip of the cape and offers beautiful views of the craggy coast. The coast around Cape Irozaki is rugged and relatively unspoiled, and can be viewed from sightseeing cruises which last about 25 minutes. There are also other nice capes along the southern coastline with rocky shorelines, craggy terrain and some of the Izu Peninsula's best beaches.
