This bakery-cum-tearoom isn’t quite like anything else in Hanoi. The extensive dessert menu and friendly staff are reason enough to come, but its the wonderfully cluttered and poky interior that takes the cake in this hideaway. Sitting in Tiem Banh Nho Noi is a bit like sitting in a mine. Not a real mine of course, but one of those fake mines that you find in museums and theme parks that are trying to give visitors a lifelike mine experience.
