Its one of the most photographed and famous towns in the world! Mykonos town or else called (Chora) meaning town in Greek. Its white houses basking in the warm sun of the cloudless Aegean sea with its long dry summer temperatures. The architecture many times looking like its made out of clay with its picturesque winding flagstone and decorated little streets. The town stands like a white gem on a little peninsula with its own little harbor.It used to be fortified offering little protection from the pirate raids and invasions. This is where the early tourist days of Mykonos started when the first celebrities visited the island! Its maze like little streets are a joy to walk in! Enjoy a beautiful sunset by its well maintained windmills. The town has the most biggest variety of options for dining, shopping, museums, and night life! All available by foot not driving!

Το πρώτο σχέδιο ολοκληρώθηκε από ένα Γάλλο το 1686, η χάραξη του Τουρνεφόρ έγινε το 1717 και το πρώτο της σχέδιο του Th. Hope ήταν το 1790. Στο τέλος του 18ου αιώνα επεκτάθηκε η αγορά πολίχνης. Το 1822, απαριθμήθηκαν 22 πλοία και 60 πλοία αναφέρονται μεταξύ 1860-1870. Το 1901 έγινε η διεύρυνση της έμπροσθεν της θάλασσας και η επέκταση του μόλου από τον Μιχ. Καμπάνα. Ο νέος μόλος δημιουργήθηκε το 1970, ενώ το 1980 πραγματοποιήθηκαν αρκετές βελτιώσεις. Η τελευταία μεγάλη ανακατασκευή έγινε σε όλο το μώλο (180m) έως το Δημαρχείο συμπεριλαμβανομένης της ανάδειξης των αρχαίων μπροστά στο Άγιο Νικολάκι, 2018-2019.
