Beautiful gallery to walk round even if you aren't interest in any of the exhibitions. Cafe is lovely airy space even in depths of winter.
The nearest gallery to the flat. Packed with interest in terms of biography in art. Aside from that the building itself is an absolute star. Short walk then across St Andrews Square to the Scottish National Gallery. 10/15 minute bus ride depending on traffic or 25/30 minute walk but uphill.
15 minutes away by bus this iconic building is a must for culture vultures! Come face to face with the people who shaped Scotland's past, present and future! Free admission.

“Walk up our ancient volcano situated in Holyrood Park to get a great view of the city. It's 241 metres high and steep in places, so you need good shoes! Combine with a visit to Holyrood Palace or Dynamic Earth.”

“REOPENS FROM 19 August 2020 Our national museum. Great for a wet day. If I’m honest it is good but not superb, but very interesting. ”
