9.2 miles away, You need a full day to give this place full justice, good cafe/ restaurant on site, but plenty of picnic spots as well
Ideal for short or long day visits, the gardens has the world largest single span greenhouse filled with exotic plants. Tropical butterfly house, walled garden and wildflower meadows and parkland. Family fun spots including adventure playground, straw maze and zorbing.
Interestingly themed gardens, the world’s largest single-span greenhouse, tropical butterfly house and adventure playgrounds, all set in stunning Regency parkland.
Fantastic place to visit with lots of different habitats, areas and things for all the family. Dog friendly on some days

“In my opinion, the perfect Welsh castle. The setting is romantic, the walk up is pleasant and not strenuous, the views are amazing, encompassing farmland and wild hills. I love taking a torch and waking under the depths of the castle to the spring. There is a walk from the castle around the hills and back to the castle car park, which is scenic and varied.”
