Atherton was once a multi-building factory created by the Parks-Cramer Company in 1919. Catch Saturday farmers market hours (listed on the website) to shop a variety of local vendors. Tucked into the building, Savory Spice Shop is a local favorite for spices, seasonings, herbs, sauces and bitters. Bigger-name shops in the building include Alton Lane, Free People, Brideside, Anthropologie and Warby Parker. Pro tip: If you stop at Savory Spice, do stop and smell the spices — there are testers available.

A mix of stores and restaurants just across South Boulevard. Some highlights: Not Just Coffee (a great local coffee shop), several stores (West Elm, Anthropologies, Golden Carrot, Free People), the best little spice shop (Savory Spice), and on Saturday mornings, a farmer's market!

This farmers market has funky hours, so make sure to check beforehand. We love to visit on Saturday morning when the most vendors are there. Grab a cup of caffeine from Not Just Coffee and just wander

This is a must visit while in Charlotte! Situated right on the rail trail in popular Southend, this is another family friendly or date night delight. If you park here in the parking garage, you can then check out Atherton Mill shops, and restaurants and then walk the rail trail to other restaurants and breweries

The Atherton Mill station was a station on the Charlotte Trolley line in the South End of Charlotte, North Carolina in the 1900’s. Retailers include: Lululemon, Alton Lane, Anthropologie, Bonodos, Bridesides, Free People, West Elm, Sephora, and more. Atherton Farmers Market is a community hub in the South End neighborhood showcasing the best that the Piedmont region has to offer every Saturday from small local farms and artisans. In addition to produce, meat, seafood, eggs and a variety of dairy products, you can find supplies at the Market to create a garden or pick out home and bath care products.
