Location for the Sunday Organic Food & Farmers Markets. People come from all over Sydney, it's walking distance from Shaw St. There's a grassy area where people hang out & soak up the live music.

This place is home ground to the Newtown Jets Rugby League Club. Great place to watch a game of league. Entry to matches is only $10!

Visit Addison Road Markets on Sunday mornings for organic food, great coffee, eclectic markets and pony rides for the kids. 15 min walk.

The Addison Rd Community Centre is my very favourite place in Marrickville. Originally a Ww1 army barracks, it is now home to many community worthy Community enterprises such as Maggie’s Rescue, the Bower Bird and Reverse Garbage. Do not miss the markets if you are here in a Sunday! Edit
