The Breakers Resort is a definite must see while you are here! Visitors are allowed to to tour the Resort every day. Just tell the guard that you are going to sight see and he will direct you to the parking lot for visitors. The lobby alone will leave you breathless -- it is BEAUTIFUL. Make sure…
The Breakers is a world class resort. They have high end shopping, dining in multiple restaurants and it is worth the trip just to see the place. Take the free shuttle from Echo across the street. Just walk over and get in when it arrives. Take note of Sunday Brunch, it is out of this world. Make…
The Breakers Palm Beach is a historic hotel in Palm Beach, Florida, United States. First known as The Palm Beach Inn, it was opened on January 16, 1896 by oil, real estate, and railroad tycoon Henry Flagler to accommodate travelers on his Florida East Coast Railway.
Founded in 1896 by Henry Flagler himself, The Breakers is a staple of Palm Beach which should not go unvisited. No need to pay for an overpriced room to enjoy the restaurants, bars, and outdoor areas!
Beautiful historic hotel. Grab coffee, go for lunch or dine for dinner, or book a spa service. You never know what celebrity you may see!

“You can bike here - along the Intracoastal to the Lake Trail on Palm Beach. This museum is just off the Lake Trail which is a paved bike/walking path that runs along the Intracoastal Waterway. Henry Flagler is a very important man who developed most of the area. The Flagler Museum was his winter home that was built in the 1920s on Palm Beach, overlooking the Intracoastal, and it is absolutely breath-taking. There's a small fee for admission and hours are limited - be sure to look them up on the web. I would roughly give this place about 2 hours to complete the tour of the home and grounds - AMAZING! Walk around the bend on the Lake Trail that is in front of the home and you'll find a Palm Beach landmark - the Giant Kapok Tree. This is a must see and photo op!”
