Great view of the castle and nice place to stop for coffee - only a 15 minute walk away or a 5 minute bus ride.
If you are a fan of Harry Potter, stop by for a coffee by the window that overlooks the graveyard. The graveyard contains all the famous people in the novels and the window seat was where the famous series was penned.
JK Rowling wrote the Harry Potter books over coffee and cake in this relaxed writer/reader-friendly cafe. If you are a Harry Potter fan, you really do not want to miss the opportunity to read the comments written on the bathroom walls by the Harry Portter's fans.
If you're into Harry Potter, here is place where book was written, quite popular and busy caffee, nice coffee, food and pastries 🥧

“Ancient and modern history of Scotland spanning nature to politics. Vast collection - start at the top and work your way down if you prefer recent history (as I do) as you will need a lot of time to enjoy it all. 30 minutes walk from here.”

“Walk up our ancient volcano situated in Holyrood Park to get a great view of the city. It's 241 metres high and steep in places, so you need good shoes! Combine with a visit to Holyrood Palace or Dynamic Earth.”
