Good southern cooking. Old school and new. I think they make just about the best fried chicken I've ever had. The shrimp and grits is pretty good too. Great find.

Less than a block away from our property, South is contemporary Southern cuisine, heavy on seasonal vegetables and driven by historical inspiration. It has a big following in Sacramento. The fried chicken is a must.

The BBQ plate is something to write home about. The bucket of fried chicken is pretty killer too.
