Rocky Point State Park is about a 20 minute drive and will take you to outer points of the Bay. Extremely scenic! There is a sandy beach with lifeguard that the kids and you can swim at, or just picnic and sunbathe. Lots of areas to fish too. There is also a golf course there. Tons of picnic tables and grills. Make a day of it.
