This is the closest cafe/breakfast restaurant to our Lakeside property and the only truely lakeside cafe in town. The coffee is excellent and the menu includes vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options as well as all the classic NZ cafe options.

This cafe is right on the water and has a lovely outside area. A great place to visit if you are having a walk along the waterfront and need a rest!

Espresso Cove make great hot chips. It is also in a gorgeous spot right next to the lake with gorgeous views and is dog friendly ( If your dog sits outside) A good selection of whole foods here. Gorgeous spot on a rainy day due to all the glass windows.
