Just down the street from The Gingerbread House Hoku's at The Kahala Hotel & Resort is heralded for its tantalizing menu featuring global Hawaiian cuisine. Eat inside of the iconic Moana Surfrider. Breakfast buffet is pricey, but worth it. American and Japanese breakfast choices. Ask for a table by the indoor windows. Amazing views. If on a budget, grab a coffee and pastry from Honolulu Coffee by the entrance of Moana Surfrider (or McDonald's) and before 9 AM, you can sit right under the Banyan tree right outside the Veranda at the outdoor bar with stunning views of Diamond Head and ocean. The tables are usually empty and open for public use until the bar opens. Same view as from the Veranda.

Incredible resort for drinks dinner and with Dolphin quest swimming. Very high end. Presidents, World leaders and Movie Stars all stay at this resort.
