Great for brunch if you are looking for something nicer than diner fare. We regularly choose Isa for dinner. The octopus is amazing... and if you are lucky enough to be there when the lamb sliders or on the menu its like winning the lottery. They have a great wine list, local beers on tap and Chris is among our favorite bartenders in town!

Best Thai in town. Not your greasy Thai take out. Lots of Vegetarian options. Want more vegetarian options? Try their sister restaurant, The Green Elephant. Its worth the wait to sit at the bar and chat with the locals.

There will always be a wait here unless you go mid-afternoon... It's worth it no matter the wait. The oysters are so tasty and so Maine. Get a flight and taste the subtle differences from each river. Be sure to order a Dirty Dirty Martini to wash it all down... and perhaps chase it with the browned butter lobster roll.

The plates are creative and enormous. We often split a breakfast and add a side of sautéed greens and chick peas. Like bacon? The bowl of bacon will feed the whole table!! Best BBQ in Maine and worth a trip over the bridge. Coordinate it with your lighthouse tour or your day on the beach. Not a fan of barbeque? Try the fish tacos or the Korean beef skewers.

Fabulous distillery right on Washington Ave. Sampling is free and $7 for their amazing cocktails is a bargain! they have recently added a kitchen and are slinging some killer cajun food... and they have brunch on the weekends.

Get up early enough and you will catch an amazing sunrise over the islands in Casco Bay. Any other time you will see the typical Maine beauty. Sailboats, ferries and large tankers making their way into and out of the busy harbor. You can rent kayaks down at the boat launch or take a guided tour. It's a great picnic spot and the moonrises are spectacular.
