This is a really unique find in the Crossroads. The chef is so imaginative and the food is incredible. The wine selection is fantastic. A perfect place for dinner or brunch. They even have a hidden courtyard with live jazz on Saturdays and Sundays. We highly recommend this place for innovative cuisine

Just a short jump from the apartment and well worth it. Homemade, greasy spoon wholesome food. Good vegetarian options. Really small but you can sit outside on the sidewalk when the weather is warm.

The Nelson is a true treasure in Kansas City. You will need to drive or catch a ride, but, it's worth it. The museum has special exhibits and permanent collections that are wonderful. A new Impressionists Gallery is incredible.
