If you are going to come to NY you have to visit Times Square at least once. But avoid this area in terms of food, the better stuff is South!

It's a little far away from my apartment. But I highly recommend taking the subway down to the World Trade Center memorial, then walking across the Brooklyn Bridge, getting some pizza in Brooklyn, and then making the return trip over the Manhattan Bridge!
