And if you want to get to the beach , paddle over and you can walk through the coconut field to Palm Beach Restaurant and a quiet, kilometre long stretch of beach.

Tiger Hut is an old fashioned backpacker place. But the restaurant is surprisingly good. It's a great spot for a cheap meal by the beach. . It's very laid back, no parties or loud music.

If you want to laze on a beach, paddle to Aana Resort's beach area at the mouth of the river. They have a bar and small restaurant. Order a drink and use the sunloungers all day. It's rarely busy.

Pick up truck taxis, scooters, car hire etc
The only public transport on the island are white pick up truck taxis. There are usually a couple parked near Aana Resort or you can flag one down on the main road near Annika Resort.
When you come back to the house, tell the driver to drop you off next door at Iyara Seafood restaurant - they will all know this. ( They won't know 'Baan Moon' )
Let me know if you want to rent a scooter or car. An automatic 125cc scooter is 250 - 300 Baht / day. No deposit required.
A small automatic car 1,400 Baht / day. You'll have to leave a passport as a deposit with the car hire company.
