Seriously yummy raw food. There is nothing on the menu here that you wont love. And the accompanying house-made seed crackers are always a delicious treat! Be warned: it can get busy at lunchtime!

This is a fabulous pizza place if you are going to Costco. Thin crust pizza with delicious toppings.

This is a fabulous pizza place if you are going to Costco. Thin crust pizza with delicious toppings.
Also located on Fort Street. this pizza place is hopping, every night. Its hard for me to choose between 900 degrees and Prima Strada. They are both so yummy with thin chewy crusts and ever so interesting combinations of toppings. Definitely worth the drive.

Looking for a wine bar with the best charcuterie around? This is it! Everything about it is great. Fernwood is a cute little neighbourhood in Victoria. The wine list is good, the meat and cheese selections are great. and the service is fabulous.

Spinnakers is the original brew pub in Victoria. There is a pub, a restaurant and a bakery. It is on the waterfront with wonderful views across the inner harbour. It is an easy walk from downtown for lunch or an afternoon beer on the way back to our place. We have been going here since our girls were babies. More than 30 years!

The menu here is spectacular. There is a choice of full service restaurant and great wine menu or an extensive sushi bar. The Marina also serves the BEST brunch menu in Victoria. But be sure you haven't eaten for days to take full advantage of the brunch. It is extensive and everything is delicious!!

Right at the bottom of our street, the beautiful Gorge Waterway is a tidal inlet stretching from the inner harbour all the way to Portage Inlet. Salmon spawn, herring run, harbour seals fish, swans, kayaks and canoes. The Gorge was also a site for local First Nations villages in the past as the water is rich in shellfish. And you can even swim in it!

Sightseeing
One of the cities prime tourist experiences, and certainly lives up to the billing, especially if you can visit in off peak hours.
Spectacular fireworks in summer (Sat nite) and beautiful lights in Christmas season.
