Beautiful at night. The riverwalk is lit up and very close to the downtown area of Tampa. Big grass area to chill and many chairs to lounge in and water the stars. See the University of Tampa which originally was a hotel across the water. This area is also filled with many good bars like franklin manor and if you want desert there is a cookie dough shop that sells yumminess called "dough"

A lot of animals and you can kayak or canoe. BEWARE! There are alligators and snakes. It is Florida after all but they don't come looking for trouble unless people go looking. A lot of people kayak and canoe just don't get in the water..
