My favorite beach restaurant in Calahonda. Great for drinks, lunch, and dinner on the beach. Delicious extremely fresh seafood grilled on charcoal. Try a whole fish. Good for families and singles alike. Parents can relax while the kids play in the sand. Live music on Saturdays and Flamenco on Sunday night. You can also rent lounge chairs and parasols.

Traditional Andalucian white village in the mountains - only 20 min drive. You can see it from the apartment terrace. Excellent traditional Spanish food.

Marbella is famous for its gorgeous beaches. Walk, bike, or Segway on the Paseo Maritimo, a 12-km long beach walkway that runs between Marbella town and Puerto Banus. The five star hotels are on this stretch - Marbella Beach Club and Puente Romano. Also worth seeing is the Marbella historic center, though it is a bit touristy.

Observe a wide variety of animals in a stunning natural setting that is designed to slowly reveal each new habitat during the course of your journey - wonderful for kids of any age as well as adults. The only place worth seeing in Fuengirola (which is otherwise not very pretty).

Luxury designer brands are located in the marina, which is also worth seeing for the impressive yachts.
