Amazing food within walking distance. This restaurant is a big reason I selected a house in the neighborhood. Make sure to visit for dinner one night. Great oyster specials. All of their pastas are made in house. Squid Ink Buccatini is a personal favorite. Wine list & cocktail menu is on point. They serve pretty late into the evening.

Great coffee shop just a few hundred feet away. They also have good tacos in the morning from TacoDeli ( a good local taco place once you get past the name ).

A long walk or a quick scooter ride (Bird, Lime's, etc.) away is this beautiful space for breakfast and coffee. Lots of options on Toast as they name would suggest. Very cool architecture.

Really solid modern Chinese. This is the sister restaurant to HG Supply. They are solid operators who know what they are doing. Lamb is great and pairs well with pickled English cucumbers. Noodles are great as are most dishes.

Deep Ellum is an Uber away and has a plethora of great restaurants and bars with lots of murals and public art installations floating around.

This is where you go for BBQ. Closed on Monday and only opened 11am - 3pm the rest of the week, 11am - 9pm Friday and Saturday. Expect to wait in line for quite some time during lunch. If you give me a heads up I can try and call in a favor so you can skip.

Make sure to stop by Truck Yard on your way to Greenville Ave or back home. A great spot with a ton of character and live music on the weekends. It is family friendly as well as dog friendly. Pretty unique spot and a big part of the neighborhood.

New addition to the neighborhood in March of 2018. Lots of wines on tap, friendly staff. Two very different vibes from downstairs to upstairs. Solid charcuterie.

It is a bar with a bunch of fun video games. Like most places in the immediate area it is very tame Sun - Thur and a complete mad house Friday/Saturday.
