Great local coffee shop with outdoor seating and grand views of the Chisos Mountains. They serve Big Bend Coffee Roasters (my favorite), and also top notch breakfast burritos. No better place to sit and sip on a nice day.

The Terlingua Ranch Lodge is 13 miles up the road from the Dome. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There is also a shower house, pool, and laundry facility at the lodge as well.

The signature trail of Big Bend with stellar views. This is a full day hike in which you must start very early to complete. Many give themselves 2 days for this trail and camp overnight.

A relatively easy one mile trail that takes you into the Santa Ellena Canyon. You'll find yourself on the Rio Grande River with 1500 foot cliffs on both sides of you, in between Mexico and the USA. Expect an hour or longer scenic drive to get here from the Dome.
