Another great all you can eat buffet, very much like home cooking, everything made from scratch. All you can eat Porterhouse steaks for dinner (cooked however you like). If you get there about 3:30pm eat for about $10, after 4pm eat for about $14, they also offer a 10% military discount. (prices may change)

All of the first four supermarkets listed are within a mile of the house.
An authentic Hispanic Supermarket with large meat and produce departments, that is very near to the house. They also make their own tortillas every day and have a bakery and restaurant.

Its open Friday evenings (I think they have concerts), and Saturdays and Sundays. Really good deals on vegetables, Some big ticket items & collectibles priced very reasonably. This place also has hot food and live entertainment. I go here often.

This is like going to another beautiful planet. When I was a child I used to find arrowheads here, there are many ancient writings on the stones (petroglyphs), there is even ancient petrified wood. This place is absolutely stunning and is only 45.5 miles / 50 minutes away from this home.

The Clark County Wetlands Park is the largest park in Clark County, Nevada. Located on the east side of the Las Vegas valley, it runs from the various water treatment plants near the natural beginning of the Las Vegas Wash to where the wash flows under Lake Las Vegas and later into Lake Mead. The park has two purposes: (1) to reduce the environmental impact of the wastewater and stormwater runoff leaving the drainage basin area by building a constructed wetland via a series of dams and weirs and ponds and (2) to educate the public by demonstrating via displays within the park how the wash looked before major settlement occurred in the valley and the impact people have had on the environment. Visitors are drawn to the park by a nature center that features a variety of birds, ducks, fish, turtles and other wildlife, lush scenery and marshes filled with plants, miles of paved walking paths and several picnic areas. Pack a lunch and spend a few hours in one of nature's hidden gems.

FYI: I do not recommend 'The Lucky Club' even though it is very close by because they don't keep the place very well maintained :-)
