At Live Lofoten (previously named Skjærbrygga) you can have a pub meal or visit the restaurant. The buling itself is in old wooden style and used to be a fish factory in the old days. It is possible to rent SUP and from here you can also go on RIB-safari

Prices are normally good and the staff is skilled. Here you can ask about fishing places and which regulations that apply, and how to buy licenses, if needed. When you arrive you will see that they are located in two building, on both side of the road.

Beautiful beach that is perfect on a sunny day. Also a starting point for hiking to the mountain "Mannen". You can walk the old road around the mountain "Veggen" to Utakleiv from here. Be aware that parking can be difficult in peak season and the police has been fining illegal parking.

Eggum is a perfect spot on a nice summer night to see the midnight sun barely touch the horizon. The surroundings are spectacular and the beach consist of large rocks, many of which are perfectly rounded by thousands of years of ice and beating of heavy sea.

Vestvågøy island was the site of a big Viking community thousand years back. The viking king at Borg had the biggest viking longhouse ever found. A replica of this building is the hart of the museum at Borg. The museum is well worth a visit and you can tak part in rowing of the viking ship on the lake. The cafe sells food of local produce and the shop sells very nice artware and souvenirs.
