One of the most wanted place in Split! Modern and stylish restaurant that was inspired by the "La Boqueira" market in Barcelona. The restaurant offers simple Mediterranean meals and the menu is decided based on the season and the vegetables available. Also, you can find a respectable wine list. It is a popular place so my tip is to book it few days before.

In the hearth of the Diocletian palace, this place is great to eat tradicional food but also to try diferent tipes of olive oils. Don't worry, wine list is great too!
Something that I would recomend is home-made ice cream with olive oil.

Coffee place that has a terrace with a spectacular view of Split and nearby islands. Place is not far from the promenade (10 minutes), but be ready to climb some stairs.

Best time for sightseeing is early morning, but if you find yourself in the middle of the day around, you wont regret. Great walls all around will keep you from the sun, and you can have a lunch, coffee or just enyoj the view.
