Very peaceful...... you won't meet anybody. Several trail options. Find the tent rock and climb on top of it. Hike to council rock, a magical spot and meditate.

The closer store is in the Princeton Shopping Center. It is called "McCaffreys", but the selection at Wegmans is much better.
Also, Terhune Orchards is a great farm store and very close.
