This place is a definition of a true local restaurant. Being one of the Ljubljana's oldest restaurants, it has survived both world wars and an earthquake. The interior is very homey-like and cosy with a very cute decoration. The food is amazing. You will find all of Slovenian food at one place just 1 minute away from your apartment.

A place with very affordable prices and good food (burgers, pizzas, pastas, salads, chicken fingers ...) . Probably one of the cheapest breakfast spots in the city. Amazing interior.

Šestica has been in business since 1776 and is an ideal setting to explore traditional Slovene cuisine. All the famous dishes are on the menu, along with many less well-known items and wines from each of the country’s regions as well as a food prepared in a wood-fired oven and on a grill.

The place is literally below the apartment. They are keen to use all the natural products, bought at Slovenian farms. Eco, gluten free and vegan friendly.
